Sewing: Sun Hat

I found a phenomenal pin with perfect timing. Just as the Minnesota seasons changed from perpetual winter to hot summer my daughter needed a new hat. Why purchase a hat when we can make one!?  At first I thought this was not enough information but it turned out great. (http://www.make-baby-stuff.com/baby-sun-hat.html) I used beautiful and wacky fabric for both sides. She doesn't always smile but it shows how well the hat fits! I can make them out of 2 fat quarters which makes fabric shopping incredibly fun! If you sent them to me I'd make the hat off of the measurement for $10 OR I can find some fabric and make the hat for you for $15!  Either way I prefer the measurements of the intended head so we can make it fit perfectly all season.

Crochet: Swiffer Cover

Also a special order for my shop - I made this swiffer cover off of a pinterest pin. Sorry I can't find it at the moment will update as soon as I find it.  Made it out of cotton yarn - any color is an option!  Good luck making your own or I can make you one!  It is reversible and would work great for light mopping. Re-useable and environmentally friendly!

Knit: Cabled Arm Warmer

I knit these cabled arm warmers as a custom order and love them! They could be knit shorter (or longer if you want to turn the elbow) and of course in any color.  I based it off of a Nancy Lindberg pattern for "Fits like a glove" and then added the cables (http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/nl27-fits-like-a--glove). Knit: Mug Warmers

I went on a kick around Christmas time last year making these delightful mug warmers. They are quite adaptable and fit around even a paper throw-away cup.  The button can be left off and they can be made completely round quite easily though.  It's just garter stitch with attached I-cords on either side.  I-cord loop and a button as a closure!  You get different looks using acrylic vs. wool vs. blend vs. cotton - so many options! Crochet: Pot Holder or Hot Pad

Ok so I have been on a crochet kick lately and I needed some new pot holders for my own kitchen. I picked out that navy blue camo or some Red Heart yarn on sale at Joann's and whipped up a skein of 'em. I can do it for you too if you would like some!  I added a Christmas gift photo I gave last year to show the difference the pattern of yarn can make.
