I knit these cabled arm warmers as a custom order and love them! They could be knit shorter (or longer if you want to turn the elbow) and of course in any color. I based it off of a Nancy Lindberg pattern for "Fits like a glove" and then added the cables (http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/nl27-fits-like-a--glove). Always willing to knit you a pair!
